Collecting Memories

The Deadmine quest Collecting Memories requires level 14 and is sharable.

• Start & End:
  • Wilder Thistlenettle in the Dwarven District in Stormwind (65.2 21.6).
• Task:
  • Bring 4x  Miners' Union Card to Wilder Thistlenettle.
  • The  Miners' Union Card drops from undead mobs (Skeletal Miner, Undead Dynamiter, Undead Excavator) outside the instance portal.
• Rewards:
  • 1,350 XP
  • 100 reputation with Ironforge
  • Choose between  Tunneler's Boots and  Dusty Mining Gloves.

Oh Brother…

The Deadmine quest Oh Brother. . . requires level 15 and is sharable.

• Start & End:
  • Wilder Thistlenettle in the Dwarven District in Stormwind (65.2 21.6).
• Task:
  • Bring  Thistlenettle's Badge to Wilder Thistlenettle.
  • The badge drops from Foreman Thistlenettle (also found in the caves in front of the instance portal).
• Rewards:
  • 1,550 XP
  • 100 reputation with Ironforge
  •  Miner's Revenge

Underground Assault

The Deadmine quest Underground Assault requires level 15 and is sharable.

• Start & End:
  • Shoni the Shilent in the Dwarven District in Stormwind (55.6 12.6).
• Task:
  • Get  Gnoam Sprecklesprocket from the The Deadmines and bring it to Shoni the Shilent.
  • The item drops from Sneed's Shredder in the instance.
• Rewards:
  • 1,550 XP
  • 100 reputation with Stormwind
  • 100 reputation with Gnomeregan Exiles
  • Choose between  Polar Gauntlets and  Sable Wand

The Unsent Letter

The Deadmine quest The Unsent Letter requires level 16 and is not sharable.

• Start:
  • Started by  An Unsent Letter.
  • The letter drops from the last Deadmine boss Edwin VanCleef (drop chance around 56%).
• End:
  • Baros Alexston at the Cathedral Square in Stormwind (49.0 30.2).
• Task:
  • Bring the letter to Baros Alexston in Stormwind City.
• Rewards:
  • 870 XP
  • 50 reputation with Stormwind

The Defias Brotherhood

The Deadmine quest The Defias Brotherhood requires level 14. It can be shared if the prerequisite quests have been completed by the other players.

• Prerequisite:
  • Completed the six predecessor quests of the same name, starting at Gryan Stoutmantle.
• Start & End:
  • Gryan Stoutmantle at Sentinel Hill in Westfall (56.2 47.6).
• Task:
  • Bring  Head of VanCleef to Gryan Stoutmantle. Edwin VanCleef is the final boss of the instance.
• Rewards:
  • 2,600 XP
  • 200 reputation with Stormwind
  • Choose between  Chausses of Westfall,  Tunic of Westfall, and  Staff of Westfall.

Red Silk Bandanas

The Deadmine quest Red Silk Bandanas requires level 14. It can be shared if the prerequisite quests have been completed by the other players.

• Prerequisite:
  • Completed the six quests of the The Defias Brotherhood quest chain starting at Gryan Stoutmantle in Sentinel Hill in Westfall at 56.2 47.6.
• Start & End:
  • Scout Riell at Sentinel Hill in Westfall (56.5 47.4).
• Task:
  • Bring 10x  Red Silk Bandana to Scout Riell.
  •  Red Silk Bandana drops from Elite Defias mobs inside and outside the instance.
• Rewards:
  • 1,250 XP
  • 100 reputation with Stormwind
  • Choose between  Solid Shortblade,  Scrimshaw Dagger, and  Piercing Axe.

The Test of Righteousness (Paladin-only)

The Deadmine quest The Test of Righteousness requires level 20 and is  Paladin-only.

• Prerequisite:
  • Completed previous quests in the series starting with The Tome of Valor from Duthorian Rall in Stormwind Cathedral (40.0 29.8)
• Start & End:
  • Jordan Stilwell outside the gates of Ironforge in Dun Morogh (52.6 36.8).
• Task:
  • Bring the following items to Jordan Stilwell:
    •  Whitestone Oak Lumber: Dropped from Goblin Woodcarver in the Deadmines
    •  Jordan's Smithing Hammer: You can get it in the dungeon Shadowfang Keep in the Fel Steed Stable. It lies on a wooden box.
    •  Jordan's Refined Ore Shipment: Obtained as part of the quest Bailor's Ore Shipment (starts and ends at Bailor Stonehand, Thelsamar, Loch Modan (36.0 45.0)).
    •  Purified Kor Gem: Obtained as part of the quest Seeking the Kor Gem (starts and ends at Thundris Windweaver, Auberdine, Darkshore (37.4 40.2)).
• Rewards:
  • 870 XP
  • After completing the final quest of the chain, you’ll get  Verigan's Fist as a reward.
