Ragefire Chasm is a level 13-18 dungeon in WoW Classic. It is located in Orgrimmar. Due to its low-level requirement, easy dungeon progression, and basic mechanics, Ragefire Chasm is considered one of the easiest dungeons in WoW Classic.

There are a total of six quests that are related to Ragefire Chasm in WoW Classic Era, Hardcore, and Fresh. All quests are exclusive to the Horde Horde. These are the following quests:

Searching for the Lost Satchel

The Ragefire Chasm quest QuestSearching for the Lost Satchel requires level 9 and is sharable.

  • Start: Rahauro in The Elder Rise in Thunder Bluff (70.6 29.6).
  • End: Maur Grimtotem in Ragefire Chasm. Here you get the next quest QuestReturning the Lost Satchel.
  • Rewards:
    • 880 XP

Returning the Lost Satchel

The Ragefire Chasm quest QuestReturning the Lost Satchel requires level 9 and is not sharable.

  • Prerequisite: Completed the previous quest QuestSearching for the Lost Satchel.
  • Start: Maur Grimtotem in Ragefire Chasm
  • End: Rahauro in The Elder Rise in Thunder Bluff (70.6 29.6).
  • Rewards:
    • 1,450 XP
    • 150 reputation with Thunder Bluff
    • Choose between Featherbead Bracers Featherbead Bracers or Savannah Bracers Savannah Bracers.

Testing an Enemy’s Strength

The Ragefire Chasm quest QuestTesting an Enemy's Strength requires level 9 and is sharable.

  • Start & End: Rahauro in The Elder Rise in Thunder Bluff (70.6 29.6).
  • Task: Kill 8x Ragefire Trogg and 8x Ragefire Shaman in Ragefire Chasm.
  • Rewards:
    • 1,050 XP
    • 100 reputation with Thunder Bluff

Slaying the Beast

The Ragefire Chasm quest QuestSlaying the Beast requires level 9 and is sharable.

  • Start & End:
    • Neeru Fireblade in The Cleft of Shadow in Orgrimmar (49.6 50.6).
  • Task:
    1. Kill Taragaman the Hungerer in Ragefire Chasm (second boss in the dungeon).
    2. Bring Taragaman the Hungerer's Heart Taragaman the Hungerer's Heart to Neeru Fireblade.
  • Rewards:
    • 1,150 XP

The Power to Destroy…

The Ragefire Chasm quest QuestThe Power to Destroy... requires level 9 and is sharable.

  • Start & End:
    • Varimathras in the Royal Quarter in Undercity (at 56.6 92.6 in the same room as Lady Sylvanas Windrunner).
  • Task:
    • Bring the books Spells of Shadow Spells of Shadow and Incantations from the Nether Incantations from the Nether to Varimathras.
    • Both books drop from Searing Blade Warlock and Searing Blade Cultist in Ragefire Chasm.
  • Rewards:
    • 1,450 XP
    • 150 reputation with Undercity
    • Choose between Ghastly Trousers Ghastly Trousers, Dredgemire Leggings Dredgemire Leggings and Gargoyle Leggings Gargoyle Leggings.

Hidden Enemies

The Ragefire Chasm quest QuestHidden Enemies requires level 9. It can be shared if the prerequisite quests have been completed by the player.

  • Prerequisite: Completed the quests QuestHidden Enemies and QuestHidden Enemies (also available from Thrall).
  • Start & End:
    • Thrall in The Valley of Wisdom in Orgrimmar (32.0 37.8)
  • Task:
    • Kill the two elite mobs Bazzalan and Jergosh the Invoker in Ragefire Chasm.
  • Rewards:
    • 1,150 XP
    • When completing the whole quest chain: Choose between Kris of Orgrimmar Kris of Orgrimmar, Hammer of Orgrimmar Hammer of Orgrimmar, Axe of Orgrimmar Axe of Orgrimmar, or Staff of Orgrimmar Staff of Orgrimmar.
