Shadowfang Keep Quests in WoW Classic

There are a total of three quests in WoW Classic and WoW SoD that are related to Shadowfang Keep. All of these quests are exclusive to the Horde Horde. There are no Alliance quests or neutral quests in SFK except the two class quests: One for Warlock Warlock and one for Paladin Paladin.

  • Task:
    • Bring The Book of Ur The Book of Ur to Keeper Bel'dugur. The Book of Ur The Book of Ur is located in Shadowfang Keep in the room of Fenrus the Devourer on the bookcase.
  • Rewards:
    • 2,100 XP
    • 100 reputation with Undercity.
    • Choose between Grizzled Boots Grizzled Boots and Steel-clasped Bracers Steel-clasped Bracers.

Arugal Must Die

The Shadowfang Keep quest HordeQuestArugal Must Die requires level 18 and is sharable.

  • Start & End:
    • Dalar Dawnweaver in Silverpine Forest (44.2 39.8).
  • Task:
    • Kill Archmage Arugal and bring Head of Arugal Head of Arugal to Dalar Dawnweaver. Archmage Arugal is the final boss in Shadowfang Keep.
  • Rewards:

The Orb of Soran’ruk (Warlock)

    • Doan Karhan in The Barrens (49.2 57.2).
  • Task:
    • Bring 3x Soran'ruk Fragment Soran'ruk Fragment and 1x Large Soran'ruk Fragment Large Soran'ruk Fragment to Doan Karhan.
    • Soran'ruk Fragment Soran'ruk Fragment drops from Twilight Acolyte in Blackfathom Deeps.
    • Large Soran'ruk Fragment Large Soran'ruk Fragment drops from Shadowfang Darksoul in Shadowfang Keep.
  • Reward:
    • 2,550 XP
    • Choose between Orb of Soran'ruk Orb of Soran'ruk and Staff of Soran'ruk Staff of Soran'ruk.

The Test of Righteousness (Paladin)

The Shadowfang Keep quest QuestThe Test of Righteousness is Paladin Paladin exclusive, requires level 20, and is not sharable. It is the fourth step in a quest chain starting at Daphne Stilwell in Westfall (42.6 88.4).

  • Prerequisite: Completed the previous quests in the chain starting at Daphne Stilwell in Westfall (42.6 88.4).
  • Start & End:
    • Jordan Stilwell in Dun Morogh (52.6 36.8).
  • Task:
    • Bring several items to Jordan Stilwell, including Jordan's Smithing Hammer Jordan's Smithing Hammer which drops in SFK.
  • Rewards:
    • The last quest of the chain rewards you with Verigan's Fist Verigan's Fist.
