How to Get to Zul’Farrak in WoW Classic

Zul'Farrak is located in Tanaris in WoW Classic. You’ll find the instance portal northwest of Gadgetzan. You can see the exact dungeon location on the map below:

How to Get the Mallet of Zul’Farrak in WoW Classic

The Mallet of Zul'Farrak Mallet of Zul'Farrak is required to summon the boss Gahz'rilla in Zul’Farrak. To get the Mallet of Zul'Farrak Mallet of Zul'Farrak in WoW Classic, follow these steps:

  1. Kill the elite Qiaga the Keeper at the Altar of Zul in The Hinterlands (48.6 68.0) to get Sacred Mallet Sacred Mallet (everyone in the group or raid can loot it).
  2. Use Sacred Mallet Sacred Mallet near the altar at the top of Jintha’Alor in The Hinterlands. It will turn into Mallet of Zul'Farrak Mallet of Zul'Farrak.
    Note: Since there are many elite mobs in the temple, a group is recommended.
  3. Use Mallet of Zul'Farrak Mallet of Zul'Farrak at the gong of Zul’Farrak to summon Gahz'rilla. It is enough that one player in the group has it.

Zul’Farrak Quests in WoW Classic

There are a total of 8 quests in WoW Classic that are related to Zul'Farrak in WoW Classic Era, Hardcore, and Fresh. All of them require level 40. There are quests exclusive for the Alliance Alliance, for the Horde Horde, and for both factions.

Nekrum’s Medallion

The quest AllianceQuestNekrum's Medallion requires level 40. It is sharable if the requirements are met.

  • Prerequisite: Completed previous 3 quests in the series starting with QuestWitherbark Cages from Gryphon Master Talonaxe in The Hinterlands (9.8 44.6)
  • Start & End :
    • Thadius Grimshade in Nethergarde Keep in Blasted Lands (67.0 19.4).
  • Task:
    • Loot Nekrum's Medallion Nekrum's Medallion from Nekrum Gutchewer in Zul'Farrak and bring it to Thadius Grimshade.
  • Rewards:
    • 5.250 XP
    • 150 reputation with Wildhammer Clan
    • 150 reputation with Ironforge
    • Completing the whole quest series will reward you with Gryphon Rider's Stormhammer Gryphon Rider's Stormhammer or Gryphon Rider's Leggings Gryphon Rider's Leggings.

The Spider God

The quest HordeQuestThe Spider God requires level 40. It is sharable if the requirements are met.

  • Prerequisite: Completed previous 3 quests in the series. It starts with QuestVenom Bottles from a Venom Bottle which can be found in Witherbark troll camps in The Hinterlands.
  • Start & End :
    • Master Gadrin in Sen’jin Village in Durotar (56.0 74.6).
  • Task:
    • Read the Tablet of Theka in Zul'Farrak. You’ll find it in the middle of the scarab room where Theka the Martyr is walking around
  • Rewards:
    • 4.850 XP
    • 150 reputation with Darkspear Trolls
    • Completing the whole quest series will reward you with Royal Highmark Vestments Royal Highmark Vestments, Honorguard Chestpiece Honorguard Chestpiece, or Aegis of Battle Aegis of Battle.

Zul’Farrak Quests for Both Factions in WoW Classic

Troll Temper

The quest QuestTroll Temper requires level 40 and is sharable.

  • Start & End :
    • Trenton Lighthammer in Gadgetzan in Tanaris (51.4 28.6).
  • Task:
    • Loot 20x Troll Temper Troll Temper from Sandfury Trolls in Zul'Farrak and bring them to Trenton Lighthammer.
  • Rewards:
    • 3.900 XP

Scarab Shells

The quest QuestScarab Shells requires level 40 and is sharable.

  • Start & End :
    • Tran'rek in Gadgetzan in Tanaris (51.6 26.8).
  • Task:
    • Loot 5x Uncracked Scarab Shell Uncracked Scarab Shell from Scarab in Zul'Farrak and bring them to Tran'rek.
  • Rewards:
    • 3.900 XP
    • 100 reputation with Gadgetzan

Tiara of the Deep

The quest QuestTiara of the Deep requires level 40 and is sharable.

    • Tabetha in Dustwallow Marsh (46.0 57.0).
  • Task:

  • Prerequisite: Completed the first quest QuestScreecher Spirits in the series that also starts at Yeh'kinya.
  • Start & End :
    • Yeh'kinya in Steamwheedle Port in Tanaris (67.0 22.4).
  • Task:
    1. Loot First Mosh'aru Tablet First Mosh'aru Tablet from the second boss Theka the Martyr in Zul'Farrak.
    2. Loot Second Mosh'aru Tablet Second Mosh'aru Tablet from the sixth boss Hydromancer Velratha in Zul'Farrak.
    3. Bring both items to Yeh'kinya.
  • Rewards:
    • 5.250 XP

Divino-matic Rod

The quest QuestDivino-matic Rod requires level 40 and is sharable.

  • Start & End :
    • Chief Engineer Bilgewhizzle in Gadgetzan in Tanaris (52.4 28.4).
  • Task:
    • Loot Divino-matic Rod Divino-matic Rod from the fifth boss Sergeant Bly in Zul'Farrak and bring it to Chief Engineer Bilgewhizzle.
  • Rewards:
    • 6.300 XP
    • Choose between Masons Fraternity Ring Masons Fraternity Ring or Engineer's Guild Headpiece Engineer's Guild Headpiece.

Gahz’rilla

  • Task:
