The Paladin is a versatile class in World of Warcraft. They have access to holy magic that strengthens allies and deals damage to enemies. Best Professions for Paladins in WoW Classic
The best profession for a Paladin in WoW Classic depends on the game mode you are playing.
- During leveling, Blacksmithing gives you an edge at the very beginning. This is especially true on Hardcore Solo Self-Found (SSF) since you can craft
Rough Sharpening Stone and 
Rough Weightstone with Blacksmithing. These items provide a significant impact in earlier levels. - In WoW Classic Hardcore, Engineering and Alchemy are the best professions. Both professions allow you to escape from difficult situations and possibly avoid death. With Engineering, you can use grenades for stuns and gadgets like
Target Dummy. With Alchemy, you have access to utility potions (like 
Swiftness Potion and 
Invisibility Potion) and potions to increase your defensive and offensive stats. - In WoW Classic Era and WoW Classic Fresh, Paladins don’t require a specific profession to min-max their character for raiding. If you lean more towards PvP, Engineering is one of the best professions you can have. Alchemy and Enchanting are very popular alternatives. Since most Paladins are expected to heal in raids, Blacksmithing is not a popular profession for the endgame.

Best Race for Paladins in WoW Classic
The class Paladin can only be played in the 
Alliance faction. You can choose between the races 
Human and 
Dwarf.
- For a Holy Paladin, that is healing raids and dungeons, the race choice has nearly no impact on their heal performance.
- For a DPS Paladin Human is the best race. The racial abilities
Mace Specialization and 
Sword Specialization are a big DPS increase and reduce the amount of hit gear you need at the endgame. - In PvP, Dwarf is a slightly better choice for a Paladin. But both races are playable and it’s up to your personal preference.
If you don’t intend to main a Retribution Pally, the race choice plays a very minor impact in the endgame in WoW Classic.
