WoW Classic Tailoring Leveling 1-300

To level Tailoring efficiently in WoW Classic you need to craft the right items at the right skill level. We’ve broken down the leveling journey into 4 brackets, to help you navigate through our Tailoring 1-300 leveling guide.

Leveling Tailoring from 1-75 (Apprentice)

Craft the following items to level Tailoring from 1-75 in WoW Classic Era, Hardcore, or Fresh:

1-45: 60x Bolt of Linen Cloth – you’ll need these later.
- Total items required: 120x Linen Cloth.
45+: Linen Bag – only if profitable!
- Each bag requires 3x Bolt of Linen Cloth and 3x Coarse Thread. You can vendor a bag for 2 . If you can buy Bolt of Linen Cloth for less than 23 per piece at the auction house, you should level Tailoring with Linen Bag as long as possible..
45-60: 15x Heavy Linen Gloves
- Total items required: 30x Bolt of Linen Cloth, 15x Coarse Thread.
60-75: 15x Reinforced Linen Cape
- Total items required: 30x Bolt of Linen Cloth, 45x Coarse Thread.

Learn Journeyman Tailoring (requires character level 10) from an Tailoring trainer in any major city. It costs 5 . This allows you to level Tailoring up to 150.

Leveling Tailoring from 75-145 (Journeyman)

Craft the following items to level Tailoring from 75-145 in WoW Classic Era, Hardcore, or Fresh:

75-105: 55x Bolt of Woolen Cloth – you’ll need these later.
- Total items required: 165x Wool Cloth.
105-110: 5x Green Woolen Vest
- Total items required: 10x Bolt of Woolen Cloth, 10x Fine Thread, 5x Green Dye
110-125: 15x Double-stitched Woolen Shoulders
- Total items required: 45x Bolt of Woolen Cloth, 30x Fine Thread.
125-145: 201x Bolt of Silk Cloth – you’ll need these later.
- Total items required: 804x Silk Cloth.

Learn Expert Tailoring (requires character level 20) from an Artisan Tailoring trainer. It costs 50 . This allows you to level Tailoring up to 225. These are the available Artisan Tailors in WoW Classic:

Georgio Bolero in The Mage Quarter in Stormwind (43.6 73.8).
Josef Gregorian at The Magic Quarter in Undercity (70.6 30.6).

Leveling Tailoring from 145-220 (Expert)

Craft the following items to level Tailoring from 145-220 in WoW Classic Era, Hardcore, or Fresh:

145-160: 18x Azure Silk Hood
- Total items required: 36x Bolt of Silk Cloth, 36x Blue Dye, 18x Fine Thread.
160-170: 10x Silk Headband
- Total items required: 30x Bolt of Silk Cloth, 20x Fine Thread.
170-175: 5x Formal White Shirt
- Total items required: 15x Bolt of Silk Cloth, 10x Bleach, 5x Fine Thread.
175-185: 80x Bolt of Mageweave – you’ll need these later.
- Total items required: 400x Mageweave Cloth.
185-205: 20x Crimson Silk Vest
- Total items required: 80x Bolt of Silk Cloth, 40x Red Dye, 40x Fine Thread.
205-215: 10x Crimson Silk Pantaloons
- Total items required: 40x Bolt of Silk Cloth, 20x Red Dye, 20x Silken Thread.
215-220: 5x Orange Mageweave Shirt
- Total items required: 5x Bolt of Mageweave, 5x Orange Dye, 5x Heavy Silken Thread.

Learn Artisan Tailoring (requires level 35) from a Master Tailoring trainer. It costs 5 . This allows you to level Tailoring up to 300. These are the available Master Tailors in WoW Classic:

Leveling Tailoring from 220-300 (Artisan)

Craft the following items to level Tailoring from 205-300 in WoW Classic Era, Hardcore, or Fresh:

220-245: ~27x Black Mageweave Gloves
- Total items required: 54x Bolt of Mageweave, 54x Heavy Silken Thread.
245-250: ~7x Black Mageweave Headband
- Total items required: 21x Bolt of Mageweave, 14x Heavy Silken Thread.
250-260: 195x Bolt of Runecloth – you’ll need these later.
- Total items required: 780x Runecloth.
260-280: 25x Runecloth Belt
- Total items required: 75x Bolt of Runecloth, 25x Rune Thread.
280-295: 18x Runecloth Gloves
- Total items required: 90x Bolt of Runecloth, 36x Rune Thread.
295-300: 5x Runecloth Headband
- Total items required: 30x Bolt of Runecloth, 10x Rune Thread.

You have now reached the maximum level for Tailoring in WoW Classic.

WoW Classic Tailoring Trainers

You can learn Apprentice and Journeyman Tailoring in WoW Classic from Tailoring trainers. You’ll find these trainers in the capital cities. Once your character has reached at least level 5, you can go to one of the following Tailoring trainers to learn the profession:
