Best Professions for Rogues in WoW Classic
In WoW Classic the best professions for Rogues are Leatherworking and Engineering. With Leatherworking you can craft leather armor pieces that are pre-Raid BiS or even BiS. Engineering is always a useful profession. Even more so, if you play on a PvP realm.
But having 2 crafting professions has some downsides too. If you are unsure what professions to pick, these are your options:
- If you want to min/max your character, you choose Leatherworking and Engineering. Be aware: you need to buy materials like leather and ore at the auction house or have a second char to farm these materials.
- If you want to be self-sustained and still maxing your DPS you learn Skinning and Leatherworking or Mining and Engineering.
- If you play only one character, Herbalism and Alchemy is a strong contender. Herbalism lets you gather your own
Swiftthistle and
Fadeleaf.
Swiftthistle is used for
Thistle Tea while
Fadeleaf is needed for
Blinding Powder.
