Are Lost Ark Mounts Account Wide?

Mounts in Lost Ark are roster-wide. When you’re getting a new mount, it will be available for all your characters on the same server.

Do Lost Ark Mounts Have Different Speeds?

All Lost Ark mounts have the same base movement speed of 500 regardless of their quality. However, there are differences regarding their “special movements”. With some of the mounts, the spacebar provides a leap or dash, while other mounts provide some kind of speed boosts activated with [Q]. Depending on the mount, these functions can have different cooldowns.

ℹ️ Background: Until January 2022 the base movement speed of uncommon, rare, and epic mounts was 420 and the base movement speed of legendary and relic mounts was 450. In the KR version, this was changed on January 26, 2022. Since that date, all mounts have a movement speed of 500. This change was also taken over in the NA/EU version.

What is the Fastest Mount in Lost Ark?

Currently, many players consider the Cerberus the fastest mount in Lost Ark. This is because the mount provides a double leap forward that allows you to cover more ground.

So the movement specials of mounts can make a difference regarding their speed. But since the base movement speed is the same for all mounts, these differences are only marginal.

Tip: Since there are many mounts available for free, just test a few, and find out, which one feels best for you. Some players e.g. don’t like that horses are pausing for a short time before doing their leap. Personally, I like the turtle the best because its slide feels really smooth and fast.

What is the Rarest Mount in Lost Ark?

The rarest mount in Lost Ark is Golden Terpeion. You’ll get this mount when you have collected 13 Ignea Tokens. You’ll get one Ignea Token for each Adventurer’s Tome you’ve completed (100%). Getting 13 Ignea Tokens is a lot of work that will take a lot of time to accomplish.

How do you Mount Quickly in Lost Ark?

After you’ve gotten a mount, you need to right-click it in your inventory in order to register it. After that, you can access the mount menu by using [Alt + V]. Then choose a mount and drag it to the Quickslot bar. You can then use this mount hotkey to mount quickly.
