Valtan

Valtan is the first Legion Raid in Lost Ark and is released on May 19 in NA/EU. Valtan is often seen as the real start of Lost Ark’s endgame and a huge boost to the longevity of the game. In our Valtan guide, you’ll find an overview for all the information you’ll need.

Valtan Raid Guide

Valtan comes with a Normal Mode and a Hard Mode with different item level requirements:

The fight has two gates. You can stop after Gate 1 and continue Gate 2 on another day with another group (unlike Argos). Here you’ll find our guides with cheat sheets, written overviews, and video commentaries:

  1. Gate 1 Wolves: Lost Ark Valtan Gate 1 Guide.
  2. Gate 2 Valtan: Lost Ark Valtan Gate 2 Guide.

The mechanics are pretty close between normal and hard mode. The hard mode is just less forgiving.

Valtan Rewards

With Valtan we see relic gear and new relic crafting materials for the first time in Lost Ark. E.g., Valtan will drop the crafting materials Demon Beast Vein and Demonic Beast’s Bone.

Here you’ll find an in-depth guide about all Valtan rewards (normal and hard).

Legion Raid Sets

With Valtan there will be new sets available in Lost Ark. There are legendary sets you can craft from Valtan normal and relic sets you need to be 1445 for.

Check Lost Ark Legion Raid Sets (All Sets From Valtan And Vykas) to see and compare all sets.

Fastest Way To 1415

You’re not quite there yet? Don’t worry. Read our guide for the fastest route to item level 1415 in Lost Ark to save a lot of gold and get Valtan-ready faster.

With the 1460 Stronghold research and the global honing buff, this should no longer be necessary. You can hone your gear just evenly.
