WoW Classic Bags

Bags in WoW Classic are containers in which items can be stored. By default, your character will start with a 16-slot bag or 20-slot bag with Blizzard Authenticator and phone notifications enabled. There are also four additional slots for bags. You can get additional bags in WoW Classic for example as quest rewards, from vendors, or through the Tailoring and Leatherworking professions.

Which Bags Are the Best in WoW SoD Phase 3?

The Season of Discovery (SoD for short) is the second season in WoW Classic. SoD is divided into several phases. Phase 3 started on April 4th, 2024. In Phase 3, the maximum character level is 50 and professions are uncapped.

The largest craftable bag in SoD Phase 3 is  Mooncloth Bag with 16 slots. In addition, the following 10-slot bags can be earned via quests:

•  Deviate Hide Pack (quest Deviate Hides)
•  Gunnysack of the Night Watch (quest The Night Watch)
•  Ooze-covered Bag (quest Digging Through the Ooze)

The following bags with 12 or more slots can also be earned in Phase 3 of WoW SoD:

•  Huge Brown Sack: Available from bag vendors for 10 gold.
•  Darkmoon Storage Box: Available for 50  Darkmoon Faire Prize Ticket at the WoW Classic Darkmoon Faire (takes place every two weeks in SoD).
•  Journeyman's Backpack: Level 39-60 world drop that can also be fished (e.g. in Moonglade)
•  Traveler's Backpack: Level 47-60 world drop that can also be fished (e.g. in Winterspring)
•  Thawpelt Sack: Quest The Platinum Discs | The Platinum Discs in Uldaman (requires level 40 – see our WoW Classic Uldaman quests guide for details)
•  Demon Hide Sack: Quest You Are Rakh'likh, Demon (last quest in a very long quest series, starting with Petty Squabbles or Fall From Grace).
•  Handy Courier Haversack: Exalted with the Waylaid Supplies factions Azeroth Commerce Authority or Durotar Supply and Logistics.
