SoD Phase 4 Feral Druid BiS List

1 This quest requires Wildheart Cowl Wildheart Cowl from Scholomance and Wildheart Vest Wildheart Vest from Blackrock Spire to complete.
2 This quest requires Wildheart Bracers Wildheart Bracers from Stratholme to complete. Additionally, you need 15 Silithus Venom Sample Silithus Venom Sample from kill Stonelash Flayer and Rock Stalker in the southern half of Silithus as Horde player or 15 Winterspring Blood Sample Winterspring Blood Sample from Frostsabers like Frostsaber Cub and Frostsaber Stalker in the northern corner of Winterspring as an Alliance Alliance player.
3 This quest requires Wildheart Boots Wildheart Boots from Lower Blackrock Spire, Wildheart Spaulders Wildheart Spaulders from Lower Blackrock Spire, and Wildheart Kilt Wildheart Kilt from Stratholme to complete.
4 You get Glaive of Obsidian Fury Glaive of Obsidian Fury by turning in Blackfury Blackfury, 25 Firelands Ember Firelands Ember, and 2 Lava Core Lava Core at Lokhtos Darkbargainer in Blackrock Depths. Blackfury Blackfury is crafted with Blacksmithing and requires materials from Molten Core.

Fire Resistance for Heat Level 2 and Heat Level 3

To raid the more difficult heat levels in Molten Core you need to hit Fire Resistance thresholds. For Heat Level 2 you need at least 96 Fire Resistance and for Heat Level 3 you need at least 226 Fire Resistance. To increase your Fire Resistance you can equip gear, utilize enchantments, use consumables, and get buffs from your Druids Druids, Shamans Shamans 1, and Paladins Paladins 1.

Use the following sources to increase your Fire Resistance to the required threshold:

Using Fire Resistance items often results in a DPS loss in comparison to your BiS list. After you’ve acquired new raid items recalculate your Fire Resistance and re-optimize your gear loadout.

🔥 Since the boss Garr from Molten Core can dispel magic effects, you should make sure your Druid Druid is hitting the Fire Resistance threshold without Mark of the Wild Mark of the Wild for that specific fight. This might require you to have some off-pieces for that boss fight.

1 For most guilds, it is not recommended to rely on Shaman Shaman totems or Paladin Paladin auras to hit the minimum Fire Resistance thresholds. If the aura or totem is out of range or the player dies, you will lack Fire Resistance. Use the totems or auras as additional mitigation, but calculate your Fire Resistance without them.

SoD Feral Druid Pre-Raid BiS List

The following Feral Druid Druid BiS list contains the best items you can get in Season of Discovery before entering the endgame raids at level 60.

1 This quest requires Wildheart Cowl Wildheart Cowl from Scholomance and Wildheart Vest Wildheart Vest from Blackrock Spire to complete.
2 This quest requires Wildheart Boots Wildheart Boots from Lower Blackrock Spire, Wildheart Spaulders Wildheart Spaulders from Lower Blackrock Spire, and Wildheart Kilt Wildheart Kilt from Stratholme to complete.
3 This quest requires Wildheart Bracers Wildheart Bracers from Stratholme to complete.
4 This quest requires Wildheart Belt Wildheart Belt from Scholomance or Blackrock Spire and Wildheart Gloves Wildheart Gloves from Stratholme to complete.
5 You only need the reputation with Timbermaw Hold to craft the base item. If you buy the base item from another player, being Friendly with Timbermaw Hold is enough to upgrade the base item to the epic pre-BiS version.
6 Hand of Justice Hand of Justice works in Cat Form Cat Form in SoD. It already worked in WoW Classic 2019.

Feral Druid Rotation

The rotation as a Feral Druid Druid in WoW SoD consists of the following priority list:

  1. Keep Faerie Fire (Feral) Faerie Fire (Feral) active on the boss.
  2. Keep Savage Roar Savage Roar up.
  3. Cast Tiger's Fury Tiger's Fury whenever it’s available and you have 40 or less energy. Cast Berserk Berserk immediately after, if it’s available.
  4. Keep the debuff from Mangle Mangle up.
  5. Cast Shred Shred whenever Omen of Clarity Omen of Clarity procs. Use Swipe Swipe instead if you have 4 or more targets.
  6. Cast Rip Rip with 5 combo points, if you don’t need to recast Savage Roar Savage Roar.
  7. Keep Rake Rake up.
  8. Cast Shred Shred if you have 4 or less targets. Use Swipe Swipe instead if you have 4 or more targets.

The first 3 items on the list are all very important and should be maintained all the time. The exact order of priority is situational but isn’t overly important in your decision-making, since all 3 are indispensable. Only one Druid Druid needs to cast Faerie Fire (Feral) Faerie Fire (Feral) per raid. If another player is responsible for casting Faerie Fire (Feral) Faerie Fire (Feral), you can ignore this step.

You don’t need to use 5 Combo Points to use Savage Roar Savage Roar. It’s ok to use fewer Compo Points. Ideally, Savage Roar Savage Roar runs out if the boss dies, so you didn’t use more Combo Points than necessary on your last Savage Roar Savage Roar. In highly optimized raid groups you will cast a 5 CP Savage Roar Savage Roar against the last trash mob immediately before the boss is pulled. This allows you to start the fight with Savage Roar Savage Roar active for 20 – 30 seconds, depending on how fast the boss will be engaged.

Feral Druid Consumables in SoD

The following list of consumables can be used by Feral Druids Druids in endgame raids at level 60:

Feral Druid Stat Priority

As a Feral Druid Druid you want to prioritize gear with the following stats:

  1. Up to 9% Hit Chance against level 60 raid bosses.
  2. Crit Chance.
  3. Agility.
  4. Strength.
  5. Attack Power = Feral Attack Power.

After reaching the hit cap, more Hit Chance loses value and other stats become more impactful. Due to your finger runes, you will only need 6% hit chance from your gear to reach the hit cap in level 60 endgame raids. If you have the 2-set bonus from Molten Core, your Faerie Fire (Feral) Faerie Fire (Feral) will provide an additional 1% Hit Chance.
