Alchemy in WoW SoD
The Season of Discovery (SoD for short) is the second season in WoW Classic. WoW Classic: SoD is divided into several phases. Since each phase has a character level cap, there is a limit to how high you can skill Alchemy in the current phase.

Alchemy in WoW SoD Phase 5-7
In SoD Phase 5, 6, and 7, professions are uncapped. You can level up to Alchemy skill level 300 (Artisan). If you have already leveled Alchemy to 300 in P3 or P4, you do not need to level further in P5-7.
Alchemy in WoW SoD Phase 4
In SoD Phase 4, professions are uncapped. You can level up to Alchemy skill level 300 (Artisan). If you have already leveled Alchemy to 300 in SoD P3, you do not need to level further in P4.
The following Flask recipes are purchasable from Pix Xizzix in Booty Bay (28.4 75.8) for 50 
Tarnished Undermine Real each:

- Recipe: Flask of Chromatic Resistance
Note: Tarnished Undermine Real is a new currency in SoD P4. You’ll earn it from most non-rare dungeon bosses over level 55 once per day.
Alchemy in WoW SoD Phase 3
In SoD Phase 3, professions are uncapped. You can level up to Alchemy skill level 300 (Artisan).
Where to Learn Artisan Alchemy in SoD Phase 3
To learn Artisan Alchemy in SoD Phase 3, you’ll need to have reached an Alchemy skill of 200 and character level 41. Go to one of the following Alchemy trainers to learn Artisan Alchemy:
Kylanna Windwhisper at Feathermoon Stronghold in Feralas (32.6 43.8).
Rogvar in Stonard in Swamp of Sorrows (48.4 55.6).
Alchemy Quest Mixology For Fun and Profit
As an Alchemist, you should complete the quest 
Mixology For Fun and Profit in SoD P3. Your character needs to be at least level 45 and your Alchemy skill at least 275 to accept the quest. Completing the quest increases the yield from crafting potions and elixirs by around 30% to 40%, according to player experience.
- Start & End: Mixmaster Blix in Steamwheedle Port in Tanaris (67.0 22.4).
- Task: Bring Mixmaster Blix the following items:

Elixir of Demonslaying
Recipe: Elixir of Demonslaying is sold by Rartar in Stonard in Swamp of Sorrows (45.4 57.0) and Nina Lightbrew in Nethergarde Keep in Blasted Lands (66.8 18.6).

Invisibility Potion- Recipe: Invisibility Potion is a world drop.

Elixir of the Sages- Recipe: Elixir of the Sages drops from Scarlet mobs in the southeastern corner of Eastern Plaguelands around Tyr’s Hand.

Alchemy Quest Master of Transmutation
In addition to Mixology For Fun and Profit, Alchemists can also complete the quest Master of Transmutation in SoD P3. Your character needs to be at least level 45 and your Alchemy skill at least 275 to accept the quest. After completing the quest you get a chance to increase the yield from Transmutes.
- Start & End: Crimeon Lablade in Steamwheedle Port in Tanaris (67.0 22.4)
- Task: Bring Crimeon Lablade the following items:

Arcanite Bar- Recipe: Transmute Arcanite is sold by Alchemist Pestlezugg in Gadgetzan (50.8 27.0).

New Alchemy Recipes in SoD Phase 3
As in Phases 1 and 2, SoD Phase 3 also features a new epic quest line to unlock new epic Nightmare Armaments crafting recipes. The cost to access these recipes is “essentially free in terms of raw gold”.

How to Get Inert Mantle of Nightmares and Nightmare Seeds
Inert Mantle of Nightmares and Nightmare Seed are two new crafting materials that you need to craft the new epic items.
- Inert Mantle of Nightmares: You’ll get one at the end of the epic crafting quest chain in P3. If you need more, you can buy them from Rix Xizzix in Booty Bay (28.4 75.6) for 10g each.
- Nightmare Seed: Drops inside the Sunken Temple.
What Is Flask of Nightmarish Mojo Needed For in SoD P3?
Flask of Nightmarish Mojo is one of the new Alchemy recipes in SoD P3. It is used as a currency to buy new Shoulder enchantments as follows:
- Go to Zalgo the Explorer at 15.2 15.6 on Yojamba Isle in the northwestern corner of Stranglethorn Vale.
- Accept the quest Signets of the Lost Temple (requires level 50), and turn in Flask of Nightmarish Mojo.
- Choose between one of the following Shoulder enchantments:
Atal'ai Signet of Might
Atal'ai Signet of Mojo
Atal'ai Signet of Serenity
Alchemy in WoW SoD Phase 2
In SoD Phase 2 the maximum character level is 40. The level requirement for Artisan has been increased to level 41 (normally level 35) for all professions in SoD. This means that in Phase 2 the maximum Alchemy skill level is 225 (Expert). In Phase 2 it will therefore not be possible to bring Alchemy to the maximum skill level of 300.
Where to Learn Expert Alchemy in SoD Phase 2
To learn Expert Alchemy in SoD Phase 2, you’ll need to have reached an Alchemy Skill of 125 and character level 26. Go to one of the following Alchemy trainers to learn Expert Alchemy:
- Ainethil at the Craftsmen’s Terrace in Darnassus (55.0 23.8).
- Doctor Herbert Halsey in The Apothecarium in Undercity (47.6 73.0).

How to Get Crate of Tainted Gniodine Solution in SoD P2?
You get Crate of Tainted Gniodine Solution by turning in 
Grime-Encrusted Salvage at The Salvagematic 9000 next to Ziri "The Wrench" Littlesprocket after completing the epic crafting quest chain in Phase 2.
Grime Encrusted Salvage in SoD drops from mobs and bosses in Gnomeregan.
Inserting Grime-Encrusted Salvage into The Salvagematic 9000 turns it into 
Box of Gnomeregan Salvage. This box contains green crafting materials required to craft the blue materials for the new epic recipes.
How to Get Gnomeregan Fallout in SoD P2?
Gnomeregan Fallout drops from mobs and bosses in Gnomeregan.
Alchemy Gold Making and Leveling in SoD
The best way to level Alchemy in SoD while making gold from it is to craft items that are needed to turn Waylaid Supplies into 
Supply Shipment. To level Alchemy this way, you mainly craft the items needed to complete Waylaid Supplies. To do so you buy the materials needed in the auction house, craft the items, and then sell them with profit in the auction house.
