Enchanting in WoW SoD

The Season of Discovery (SoD for short) is the second season in WoW Classic. WoW Classic: SoD is divided into several phases. Since each phase has a character level cap, there is a limit to how high you can skill Enchanting in the current phase.

Enchanting in WoW SoD Phase 3

In SoD Phase 3, professions are uncapped. You can level up to Enchanting skill level 300 (Artisan).

Where to Learn Artisan Enchanting in SoD Phase 3

To learn Artisan Enchanting in SoD Phase 3, you’ll need to have reached an Enchanting skill of 200 and character level 41. Go to the following Enchanting trainer to learn Artisan Enchanting:

• Annora in Uldaman (you’ll have to kill all scorpions in the area for her to spawn).

New Enchanting Recipes in SoD Phase 3

As in Phases 1 and 2, SoD Phase 3 also features a new epic quest line to unlock new epic Nightmare Armaments crafting recipes. The cost to access these recipes is “essentially free in terms of raw gold”.

The following Enchanting recipes are new in SoD P3:

Enchanting in WoW SoD Phase 2

In SoD Phase 2 the maximum character level is 40. The level requirement for Artisan has been increased to level 41 (normally level 35) for all professions in SoD. This means that in Phase 2 the maximum Enchanting skill level is 225 (Expert). In Phase 2 it will therefore not be possible to bring Enchanting to the maximum skill level of 300.

Where to Learn Enchanting Expert in SoD Phase 2

To learn Enchanting Expert in SoD Phase 2, you’ll need to have reached an Enchanting Skill of 125 and character level 26. Go to one of the following Enchanting trainers to learn Enchanting Expert:

• Kitta Firewind in Elwynn Forest (64.8 70.6).
• Hgarth at Sun Rock Retreat in Stonetalon Mountains (49.2 57.2).

The following Enchanting recipes are new in SoD Phase 2:

In SoD Phase 1, Enchanting received a new formula to craft  Blackfathom Mana Oil. To craft the oil you need 5x  Strange Dust, 1x  Greater Magic Essence, and 1x  Leaded Vial.

1. Make sure you have 100 or more points in Enchanting.
2. Kill all 7 bosses in Blackfathom Deeps.
3. Run back to Lady Sarevess.
4. The waterfall behind Lady Sarevess’ spawn location is now gone. Walk into the cave.
5. At the end of the cave, you can pick up the formula for  Blackfathom Mana Oil.

Enchanting Gold Making and Leveling in SoD

The best way to level Enchanting in SoD while making gold from it is to craft items that are needed to turn Waylaid Supplies into  Supply Shipment. To level Enchanting this way, you mainly craft the items needed to complete Waylaid Supplies in WoW SoD. To do so you buy the materials needed in the auction house, craft the items, and then sell them with profit in the auction house.

The Enchanting items needed to complete Waylaid Supplies are the following:

•  Waylaid Supplies: Lesser Magic Wands
  • Required item:  Lesser Magic Wand
  • Difficulty: 10 75 95 115
•  Waylaid Supplies: Minor Wizard Oil
  • Required item:  Minor Wizard Oil
  • Difficulty: 45 55 65 75
•  Waylaid Supplies: Runed Silver Rods
  • Required item:  Runed Silver Rod
  • Difficulty: 100 130 150 170
  • Only for your own  Waylaid Supplies: Runed Silver Rods, since  Runed Silver Rod is BoP.
•  Waylaid Supplies: Minor Mana Oil
  • Required item:  Minor Mana Oil
  • Difficulty: 150 160 170 180
•  Waylaid Supplies: Enchanted Thorium Bars
  • Required item:  Enchanted Thorium
  • Difficulty: 250 250 255 260
  • Recipe: Annora in Uldaman

Start leveling up Enchanting in SoD by making  Runed Copper Rod and  Enchant Bracer - Minor Health. Fill any gaps between the items mentioned above by crafting items from the regular WoW Classic Enchanting leveling guide. If you are not in a hurry, you can level enchanting just by disenchanting items to around level 50.
