SoD Phase 6 Elemental Shaman BiS List

The following Elemental Shaman Shaman BiS list contains the best items you can get in Phase 6 of Season of Discovery:

SoD Phase 4 Elemental Shaman BiS List

The following Elemental Shaman Shaman BiS list contains the best items you can get in Phase 4 of Season of Discovery to DPS in raids and dungeons:

1 This quest requires Cord of Elements Cord of Elements and Gauntlets of Elements Gauntlets of Elements from Blackrock Spire to complete.
2 This quest requires Boots of Elements Boots of Elements from Blackrock Spire, Kilt of Elements Kilt of Elements from Stratholme, and Pauldrons of Elements Pauldrons of Elements from Blackrock Spire to complete.

Fire Resistance for Heat Level 2 and Heat Level 3

To raid the more difficult heat levels in Molten Core you need to hit Fire Resistance thresholds. For Heat Level 2 you need at least 96 Fire Resistance and for Heat Level 3 you need at least 226 Fire Resistance. To increase your Fire Resistance you can equip gear, utilize enchantments, use consumables, and cast your Fire Resistance Totem Fire Resistance Totem.

Use the following sources to increase your Fire Resistance to the required threshold:

Using Fire Resistance items often results in a DPS loss in comparison to your BiS list. After you’ve acquired new raid items recalculate your Fire Resistance and re-optimize your gear loadout. The recommended BiS setting for heat 3 is using Infernal Headcage Infernal Headcage, Fine Flarecore Leggings Fine Flarecore Leggings, Earthfury Cord Earthfury Cord, and Dragonslayer's Signet Dragonslayer's Signet instead of the items from the BiS list above.

🔥 Since the boss Garr from Molten Core can dispel magic effects, you should make sure your Shaman Shaman is hitting the Fire Resistance threshold without Mark of the Wild Mark of the Wild for that specific fight. This might require you to have some off-pieces for that boss fight.

SoD Elemental Shaman Pre-Raid BiS List

The following Elemental Shaman Shaman Pre-BiS list contains the best items you can get in Season of Discovery before entering the endgame raids at level 60.

2 This quest requires Boots of Elements Boots of Elements from Blackrock Spire, Kilt of Elements Kilt of Elements from Stratholme, and Pauldrons of Elements Pauldrons of Elements from Blackrock Spire to complete.
3 This quest requires 15 Silithus Venom Sample Silithus Venom Sample and Bindings of Elements Bindings of Elements from Stratholme to complete. To get Silithus Venom Sample Silithus Venom Sample, you need to kill Stonelash Flayer and Rock Stalker in the southern half of Silithus.
4 This quest requires Cord of Elements Cord of Elements and Gauntlets of Elements Gauntlets of Elements from Blackrock Spire to complete.

  1. Keep Searing Totem Searing Totem and one earth totem active, if you have Terrestris Terrestris equipped.
  2. Keep Flame Shock Flame Shock active.
  3. Activate Wushoolay's Charm of Spirits Wushoolay's Charm of Spirits if you have 8 or more stacks of Lightning Shield Lightning Shield and continue with your priority list. Make sure to cast Earth Shock Earth Shock right before Wushoolay's Charm of Spirits Wushoolay's Charm of Spirits runs out.
  4. Use Elemental Mastery Elemental Mastery with Lightning Bolt Lightning Bolt on a single target or with Chain Lightning Chain Lightning on multiple targets. Cast one shock spell immediately after.
  5. Cast Chain Lightning Chain Lightning if it’s available and you have 2 or more targets.

  8. Cast Lightning Bolt Lightning Bolt.

Make sure Flametongue Weapon Flametongue Weapon is active on your main hand weapon before the fight. Cast Shamanistic Rage Shamanistic Rage and Mana Spring Totem Mana Spring Totem regularly during the fight.

In multi-target fights, keep Flame Shock Flame Shock on as many targets as possible. Use Chain Lightning Chain Lightning on cooldown and skip Lava Burst Lava Burst, if you have 2 or more targets.

Elemental Shaman Consumables in SoD

The following list of consumables can be used by Elemental Shamans Shamans in endgame raids at level 60:

Use Flametongue Weapon Flametongue Weapon on your main-hand weapon.

Elemental Shaman Stat Priority

As an Elemental Shaman Shaman you want to prioritize gear with the following stats:

  1. Up to 16% Spell Hit Chance against level 60 raid bosses.
  2. Spell Critical Hit
  3. Intellect
  4. Spell Damage = Nature Damage

After reaching the hit cap, more Hit Chance has no additional value. Due to the Spell Hit Chance from your finger runes, you only need 10% Spell Hit Chance from your gear.
