How to Get Haunt in SoD

You get the  Haunt rune (Hands) at level 2 in your starting zone in the Season of Discovery as follows.

•  Orc:
  1. Get the Level 2 Quest Stolen Power from Nartok in Durotar (40.6 68.4).
  2. Enter the Burning Blade Coven (entrance is at 45.3 56.6).
  3. Find the Waterlogged Stashbox underwater in the pond in the cave at (43.0 54.4).
  4. Loot the Stashbox to get  Rune of Haunting.
•  Undead:
  1. Get the Level 2 Quest The Lost Rune from Maximillion in Tirisfal (30.8 66.2).
  2. Enter Night’s Web Hollow (27.2 57.4) and find the Lost Stash at (24.7 59.4). Loot it to get  Rune of Haunting.
•  Human:
  1. Get the Level 2 Quest Stolen Power from Drusilla La Salle in Northshire in Elwynn Forest (50 43).
  2. Find the Defias Stashbox at (52.6 51.8). Loot it to get  Rune of Haunting.
•  Gnome:
  1. Get the Level 2 Quest Stolen Power from Alamar Grimm in Dun Morogh.
  2. Find the Rockjaw Footlocker at (26.8 72.6). Loot it to get  Rune of Haunting.

How to Get Chaos Bolt in SoD

You get the  Chaos Bolt rune (Hands) in the starting zones in the Season of Discovery as follows:

• Elwynn Forest:
  • Find Frozen Murloc at Stone Cairn Lake (77 52). To thaw it, multiple  Warlock and/or  Mage must cast fire spells. It then drops  Chaos Bolt.
• Dun Morogh:
  • Find Frozen Trogg in the Gol’Bolar Quarry at (69 58). To thaw it, multiple  Warlock and/or  Mage must cast fire spells. It then drops  Chaos Bolt.
• Tirisfal Glades:
  • Find Frozen Murloc on the northwest side of the great lake at (66 40). Cast fire spells on the Murloc to thaw it. The Murloc then drops  Chaos Bolt.
• Durotar:
  • Find Frozen Makrura at (59 45). To thaw it, multiple  Warlock and/or  Mage must cast fire spells. It then drops  Chaos Bolt.

How to Get Demonic Grace in SoD

You get the  Demonic Grace rune (Legs) in the starting zones in the Season of Discovery as follows:

• Elwynn Forest:
  1. Obtain  Ominous Tome from Kobold Geomancer in Jasperlode Mine (63 54), Surena Caledon around (71 80), and Defias Rogue Wizard e.g. at the island in Stonecairn Lake.
  2. Obtain  Gnoll Blood from Gnoll mobs.
  3. Obtain  Wolf Jawbone from Wolf or Prowler mobs.
  4. Use  Ominous Tome in the summoning circle at The Slaughtered Lamb Inn in Stormwind City at 25.8 76.2. This will summon Soboz.
  5. Kill Soboz to get  Rune of Grace.
• Dun Morogh:
  1. Obtain  Ominous Tome from Frostmane Shadowcaster in the cave west of Brewnall.
  2. Obtain  Wendigo Blood from Wendigo mobs.
  3. Obtain  Wolf Jawbone from Wolves.
  4. Use  Ominous Tome in the summoning circle in Shimmer Ridge at 42.2 35.6. This will summon Soboz.
  5. Kill Soboz to get  Rune of Grace.
• Tirisfal Glades:
  1. Obtain  Ominous Tome from Darkeye Bonecaster in Agamand Mills.
  2. Obtain  Gnoll Blood from Gnoll mobs in Garren’s Haunt.
  3. Obtain  Hound Jawbone from Darkhound mobs in Tirisfal.
  4. Use  Ominous Tome in the summoning circle in the sewers in Undercity at 24.1 41.6. This will summon Soboz.
  5. Kill Soboz to get  Rune of Grace.
• Durotar:
  1. Obtain  Ominous Tome from Voodoo Trolls in Echo Isles in Durotar.
  2. Obtain  Makrura Leg from Makrura mobs at the southeast coast.
  3. Obtain  Kul Tiran Skull from Kul Tiras mobs at Tiragarde Keep around 58 57 southeast of Razor Hill.
  4. Use  Ominous Tome in the summoning circle near Zalazane in Durotar at 67.6 87.8. This will summon Soboz.
  5. Kill Soboz to get  Rune of Grace.

How to Get Demonic Tactics in SoD

You get the  Demonic Tactics rune (Chest) in Elwynn Forest and Tirisfal in the Season of Discovery as follows:

• Elwynn Forest:
  1. Loot Dead Acolyte near the Jasperlode Mine in Elwynn Forest at 56.8 57.0. You’ll get  Acolyte's Knapsack containing  Acolyte's Note and  Unidentified Artifact.
  2. Talk to the Warlock trainer Maximillian Crowe in Goldshire (44.4 66.0).
  3. Return to Dead Acolyte
  4. Use  Powerless Artifact at the stone next to Dead Acolyte. You’ll receive  Fel-Powered Artifact and the  Blood Offering debuff.
  5. Go to Gakin the Darkbinder in Stormwind (25.6 77.8). From him, you will receive  Rune of Tactics.
• Tirisfal:
  1. Loot Dead Acolyte near the Scarlet Monastery in Tirisfal at 76.6 44.4. You’ll get  Acolyte's Knapsack containing  Acolyte's Note and  Unidentified Artifact.
  2. Talk to the Warlock trainer Rupert Boch in Brill (61.6 52.4).
  3. Return to Dead Acolyte.
  4. Use  Powerless Artifact at the stone next to Dead Acolyte. You’ll receive  Fel-Powered Artifact and the  Blood Offering debuff.
  5. Go to Carendin Halgar in Undercity (85.0 25.6). From him, you will receive  Rune of Tactics.

How to Get Soul Siphon in SoD

You get the  Soul Siphon rune (Back) by using  Drain Soul (trained at level 10) in the Season of Discovery as follows:

• Elwynn Forest:
  1. Use  Drain Soul on a critter (e.g. frog, rabbit,…) to get  Pure Soul Shard.
  2. Use  Drain Soul on Hogger to get  Tainted Soul Shard.
  3. Bring both shards to Damien Kane in the basement of the Goldshire Inn in Elwynn Forest (44 66). You receive  Soul Siphon.
• Dun Morogh:
  1. Use  Drain Soul on a critter (e.g. frog, rabbit,…) to get  Pure Soul Shard.
  2. Use  Drain Soul on Captain Beld (79 62) to get  Tainted Soul Shard.
  3. Bring both shards to Gaklik Voidtwist in Kharanos in Dun Morogh (47 54) to receive  Soul Siphon.
• Tirisfal Glades:
  1. Use  Drain Soul on a critter (e.g. frog, rabbit,…) to get  Pure Soul Shard.
  2. Use  Drain Soul on Maggot Eye (59 32) to get  Tainted Soul Shard.
  3. Bring both shards to Denton Bleakway in Undercity to receive  Soul Siphon.
• Durotar:
  1. Use  Drain Soul on a critter (e.g. frog, rabbit,…) to get  Pure Soul Shard.
  2. Use  Drain Soul on Gazz'uz (52 10) to get  Tainted Soul Shard.
  3. Bring both shards to Darmak Bloodhowl in Razor Hill (55 41) to receive  Soul Siphon.

Note: According to feedback via our feedback button it’s also possible to get  Tainted Soul Shard from the demon that is summoned when getting the Demonic Grace rune (Killing it with  Drain Soul).

Note:  Soul Siphon is being moved from the Chest slot to the Back slot in SoD P4.

How to Get Master Channeler in SoD

You get the  Master Channeler rune (Chest) in the level 10+ quest zones in the Season of Discovery as follows:

• Loch Modan:
  • Buy  Malevolent Pie from Greishan Ironstove (27.3 61.9). Eat  Malevolent Pie, to get the rune.
• Darkshore:
  • Drops from Dark Strand Fanatic in Darkshore around (57 25).
• Westfall:
  1. Kill Harvest Watcher or Rusty Harvest Golem in the north and northwest of Westfall until you get  Spare Reaper Parts.
  2. Kill Dust Devil until you get  Elemental Core.
  3. Combine  Spare Reaper Parts and  Elemental Core to get  Prototype Engine.
  4. Use  Prototype Engine on a Harvest Reaper Prototype and kill it. Harvest Reaper Prototype are found e.g. around (51 19), (46 39) and (61 58).
• The Barrens:
  • Siphon your own health away with  Health Funnel while standing on the Altar of Thorns (58 27). When you reach 0 health, you are fully healed and get  Master Channeler.
• Silverpine Forest:
  • Cast  Curse of Recklessness on Sadistic Fiend and kill the mob. You can find Sadistic Fiend in a cave in the east of Silverpine Forest (56 45).

How to Get Shadow Bolt Volley in SoD

You get the  Shadow Bolt Volley rune (Hands) in the level 10+ quest zones in the Season of Discovery as follows:

• Darkshore:
  • Cast  Drain Soul on Delmanis the Hated in Darkshore (57 26).
  • Cast  Drain Soul on Xabraxxis summoned during The Blackwood Corrupted.
  • Drops from Licillin at Bashal’Aran.
• Loch Modan:
  • Attack Demonic Remains at the southeast side of Ironband’s Excavation Site (72.6 68.8) with a shadow spell (according to feedback it needs to be  Curse of Agony). This spawns the level 18 Demon Graix.
  • Kill Graix to get  Rune of Shadowbolts. Note: Graix is in a tight space of other level 17-19 mobs.
• Westfall:
  1. Cast  Drain Soul on Old Murk-Eye on the coast of Westfall. You will receive  Soul of the Sea.
  2. Use  Soul of the Sea on the Medusa Statue (26 70). A level 20 NPC spawns that drops  Rune of Shadowbolts.
• The Barrens:
  1. Cast  Drain Soul on Supervisor Lugwizzle in the Barrens (56 9). You will receive  Soul of Greed.
  2. Go to the spot (57 10). There is a Hungry Idol there. Use  Soul of Greed on it and you will get  Rune of Shadowbolts.
• Silverpine Forest:
  1. Kill Ravenclaw Drudger and Ravenclaw Guardian south of Amber Mill until  Tortured Soul drops.
  2. Use  Life Tap then  Tortured Soul to summon a level 20 mob.
  3. Kill the enemy to get  Rune of Shadowbolts.

How to Get Lake of Fire in SoD

You get the  Lake of Fire rune (Chest) in Hillsbrad Foothills in the Season of Discovery as follows:

1. Purchase  Demolition Explosives from Zixil who is traveling on the main road in the Hillsbrad Foothills.
2. Go to Durnholde Keep.
3. Use  Demolition Explosives in the rubble pile at (79.7 41.0). You will find a chest containing  Lake of Fire.

How to Get Incinerate in SoD

You get the  Incinerate rune (Wrists) from a level 23 Elite mob in the Season of Discovery as follows:

• Drops from Level 23 Elite Orc Incinerator Gar'im in Redridge Mountains. You can find him in a cave in the southeast of the area, around (77 85).

Note:  Incinerate is being moved from the Legs slot to the Wrists slot in SoD P4.

How to Get Metamorphosis in SoD

You get the  Metamorphosis rune (Hands) by completing five level 20 quests in the Season of Discovery as follows:

1. Complete the level 20 quest The Orb of Soran'ruk from Doan Karhan in the Barrens (49.2 57.2). For the quest you need to bring the following items to Doan Karhan:
   • 3x  Soran'ruk Fragment: Drops from Twilight Acolyte in the ruins outside Blackfathom Deeps and inside the raid.
   •  Large Soran'ruk Fragment: Drops from Shadowfang Darksoul in Shadowfang Keep.
2. Complete the follow-up quest Rumors Abound from Doan Karhan. For the quest you need to bring the following items to Doan Karhan:
   •  Orb of Des: Loot it at the top of the Tower of the Ilgalar in the Redridge Mountains (80 49).
   •  Bough of Altek: Loot it at the top of the Tower of Althalaxx in Darkshore (56 27).
3. Complete the follow-up quest The Conjuring from Doan Karhan as follows:
   1. Collect 10x  Blood of the Legion. It drops from Mannoroc Lasher, Felguard, Searing Infernal, and Legion Hound in the southeast of Ashenvale.
   2. Interact with Dark Ritual Stone at (79 80) to start a ritual. Waves of demons will be summoned. Stand in the purple rune and defeat each wave until Searing Infernal spawns. Once Searing Infernal is defeated, you will receive the follow-up quest Mysterious Traveler. You do not need to use  Drain Soul on these demons to succeed.
4. Turn in Mysterious Traveler at Doan Karhan.
5. You will receive the follow-up quest Raszel Ander, which will give you  Rune of Metamorphosis.

How to Get Demonic Pact in SoD

You get the  Demonic Pact rune (Legs) by buying it in Ratchet in the Season of Discovery as follows:

Update: Since the hotfix on April 16, 2024, you can buy  Rune of the Pact directly from Grizzby in Ratchet for 3g. It is no longer necessary to deliver the items listed below.

The following steps are no longer necessary to get the rune:

1. Go to Ratchet in the Barrens and talk to Grizzby in the Inn (62 39). For his quests, you have to collect the following materials:
   • 24x  Fish Oil:
     • Drops from Murlocs and Naga e.g. in Hillsbrad Foothills.
   • 20x  Dark Iron Ordinance:
     • Drops from Level 27 – 31 Elite Dark Iron Dwarves in Wetlands.
   • 16x  Shredder Turbocharger:
     • To get  Shredder Turbocharger, use  Shredder Autosalvage Unit on Venture Co. Light Shredder in Stonetalon Mountains around Windshear Crag (not a guaranteed drop).
     •  Shredder Autosalvage Unit is crafted by Engineering. The recipe is a drop from Sneed in Deadmines.
2. Turn in the items and accept the quest Let Me Make You An Offer or Let Me Make You An Offer from Grizzby.
3. Hand in the quest to the following NPCs in your faction’s capital:
   • Master Wood in Old Town in Stormwind City (79.2 47.6).
   • Zel'mak in The Valley of Honor in Orgrimmar (80.2 29.6)
4. Accept the quest You've Got Yourself A Deal from Master Wood or You've Got Yourself A Deal from Zel'mak which leads you back to Grizzby in Ratchet.
5. Hand in the quest to Grizzby. He will now sell you  Rune of the Pact for 3 gold.

If you can’t see the quest, your character level is too low. the quest should be available at level 20.

How to Get Everlasting Affliction Get in SoD

You get the  Everlasting Affliction rune (Legs) by turning in Waylaid Supplies and Supply Shipments for reputation in the Season of Discovery as follows:

• Alliance:
  • Can be purchased from the Azeroth Commerce Authority faction once Friendly has been achieved.
• Horde:
  • Can be purchased from the Durotar Supply and Logistics faction once Friendly has been achieved.

How to Get Invocation in SoD

You get the  Invocation rune (Waist) in Arathi Highlands in the Season of Discovery as follows:

1. Get 10x  Conjuror's Pendant by killing Syndicate Conjuror in Stormgarde Keep in Arathi Highlands.
2. Use  Drain Soul on their Voidwalker Minion to get  Soul of the Void.
3. Go to the top floor of the house at 29.4 63 inside Stormgarde Keep.
4. Combine  Soul of the Void and 10x  Conjuror's Pendant on the Void Prism. This will cause Void Seeker to spawn.
5. Kill Void Seeker and you’ll get  Rune of Invocation.

How to Get Shadowflame in SoD

You get the  Shadowflame rune (Feet) in Desolace in the Season of Discovery as follows:

1. Go to Shadowbreak Ravine in the southeast of Desolace. The path to go there starts at 76.5 76.0.
2. Find the Sacrificial Altar at 81.4 79.8.
3. Make sure you do not exceed 1160 HP. Remove stamina gear and buffs if needed to not get killed in the process.
4. Cast  Shadow Ward and interact with the Sacrificial Altar for 5 seconds.
   • It deals lethal Shadow Damage (25% health every second for 5 seconds) that cannot be healed.
   •  Sacrifice and  Shadow Protection Potion no longer work as they are removed when the channel starts.
   • Using  Extraplanar Spidersilk Boots will reduce the damage.
5. This will cause the Level 38 Elite Seductress Ceeyna to spawn. You need to kill Seductress Ceeyna to get the rune. Make sure to use  Soulstone if you’re solo. Since you are low health and unequipped some of your gear, the fight might be tough.

How to Get Dance of the Wicked in Sod

You get the  Dance of the Wicked rune (Feet) at level 30 in the Season of Discovery as follows:

Prerequisite: Level 30 &  Hellfire trained.

1. Find Reckless Warlock and loot  Brimstone Carving. Reckless Warlock can spawn at the following locations:
   • Stranglethorn Vale: in the Gurubashi Arena at 30.8 47.0.
   • Thousand Needles: in the west at 10.8 40.6.
   • Desolace: north of Sargeron at 74.8 13.2.
   • Alterac Mountains: in the ogre cave close to Crushridge Hold (around 53 35). Thanks for this tip sent in via our feedback button!
2. Cast  Hellfire until  Brimstone Carving transforms into the rune (random proc).

How to Get Grimoire of Synergy in SoD

You get the  Grimoire of Synergy rune (Waist) at level 30 in the Season of Discovery as follows:

Prerequisite: You must have completed the Metamorphosis rune questline.

1. At level 30 get the quest A Solid Foundation from Raszel Ander in The Barrens (49.2 57.2).
2. Go to Bough Shadow in the northeast corner of Ashenvale (90 40).
3. Loot  Bough of Shadows from a tree around 91.2 37.5.
   Note: Collecting  Bough of Shadows gives you the stacking shadow damage dot  Bough of Shadows that scales with your max health. Unequip all gear with stamina to reduce the damage per tick. Use  Shadow Ward and  Demon Armor to mitigate the rest of the damage. In case you die, you won’t lose  Bough of Shadows.
4. Return to Raszel Ander. You’ll get the follow-up quest Soul Vessel.
5. Obtain a  Soul Vessel.
   •  Soul Vessel can be crafted with Engineering.
   •  Schematic: Soul Vessel can be bought from Supply Offers of Azeroth Commerce Authority and Durotar Supply and Logistics (requires Honored).
   • Crafting materials needed are 4x  Shadowgem, 1x  Black Vitriol, and 1x  Demonic Figurine.
6. Go to Mannoroc Coven in Desolace (51.22 82.50) and find Raszel Ander near an altar.
7. Turn in Soul Vessel. You’ll get the follow-up quest Tempting Fate.
8. Assist with the ritual by interacting with the stave until the level 40 elite Des'Altek spawns. Defeat him to complete the quest. Talk to Doan Karhan next to the altar to turn the completed quest in. You’ll get the rune as a quest reward.

How to Get Shadow and Flame in SoD

You get the  Shadow and Flame rune (Waist) at level 30 in the Season of Discovery as follows:

1. Find the Extinguished Campfire at the Kodo Graveyard in Desolace at 47.5 54.6. You’ll get the quest Highway Robbery (requires level 30).
2. Go to Bibbly F'utzbuckle northeast of the Kodo Graveyard at 62.2 38.8 and turn in the quest. You’ll get the quest On the Lam.
3. Go to Booty Bay in Stranglethorn Vale. Turn in the quest at Tokal in the Booty Bay Inn (27.0 77.2). You’ll get the quest Cherry for Your Thoughts?.
4. Buy  Cherry Grog from Nixxrax Fillamug.
5. Turn in the quest at Tokal. You’ll get the quest No Honor Among Thieves.
6. Use the rowboat found at 53 91 on the Arathi Highlands map. It will teleport you to the eastern shore.
7. Talk to Illari Duskfeather at the docks (93.8 71.4 on the Arathi Highlands map).
8. Fight Illari Duskfeather and loot her bag to get  Illari's Key.
   Tip: If someone has just fought her, you can loot the key from her bag as well. Then wait for her to respawn, talk to her and you can continue to the next
9. Open the chest near Illari Duskfeather at the docks to turn in the quest. You’ll get  Jewel-Encrusted Box which contains the rune.

Note: This questline only needs to be completed once per account starting in SoD Phase 5. You can then buy item  Emblem of Dishonor from Pix Xizzix at 28.4 75.8 in Booty Bay and mail it to an alt char. The emblem can be redeemed at a Rune Broker in any of the major cities to unlock the corresponding rune of the class.

How to Get Demonic Knowledge in SoD

You get the  Demonic Knowledge rune (Feet) in the Season of Discovery as follows:

1. Talk to Dalaran Agent in Ariden’s Camp in eastern Deadwind Pass (52.0 34.6). You’ll get  Ariden's Sigil.
2. Equip  Ariden's Sigil (or be with a player who has equipped it).
3. Kill all 7 Dark Rider found around the following locations and obtain their relics. You will get the  Dark Presence buff when you’re in the right spot. Then use  Ariden's Sigil to reveal the Dark Rider.
   • Deadwind Pass ~ 44 29 (drops  Curious Dalaran Relic)
   • Duskwood ~ 23 46 (drops  Glittering Dalaran Relic)
   • Swamp of Sorrows ~ 70 29 (drops  Odd Dalaran Relic)
   • Arathi Highlands ~ 62 42 (drops  Whirring Dalaran Relic)
   • The Barrens ~ 52 36 (drops  Heavy Dalaran Relic)
   • Desolace ~ 66 23 (drops  Creepy Dalaran Relic)
   • Badlands ~ 57 55 (drops  Slippery Dalaran Relic)
4. Return to Dalaran Agent and turn in the 7 relics. As a reward, you’ll get the rune.

Note: This questline only needs to be completed once per account starting in SoD Phase 5. You can then buy item  Emblem of the Violet Eye from Pix Xizzix at 28.4 75.8 in Booty Bay and mail it to an alt char. The emblem can be redeemed at a Rune Broker in any of the major cities to unlock the corresponding rune of the class.

How to Get Pandemic in SoD

You get the  Pandemic rune (Head) in Feralas in the Season of Discovery as follows:

1. Obtain the following two items:
   •  Broken Woodpaw Staff:
     1. Start at 68 54 in Feralas and follow the torches up the mountain.
     2. Follow the edge of the mountain to the right of the cave until you reach Dead Diseased Woodpaw Mystic at 66.4 50.8.
     3. Loot their satchel to get  Broken Woodpaw Staff.
   •  Grimtotem Necklace:
     1. Find Dead Diseased Grimtotem Shaman at 69.6 43.2 in Feralas.
     2. Loot the box to get  Grimtotem Necklace.
2. Combine the two items to get  Diseased Nature Staff.
3. Find Diseased Forest Walker at 72.6 50.8.
4. Use  Diseased Nature Staff on Diseased Forest Walker and kill them to get the rune.

How to Get Unstable Affliction in SoD

You get the  Unstable Affliction rune (Wrists) in the Season of Discovery as follows:

• Buy Rune of Affliction for 1g 60s from one of the following Emerald Wardens Quartermasters:
  • Quartermaster Alandra south of Seradane in The Hinterlands (61.2 34.6).
  • Quartermaster Falinar at The Twilight Grove in Duskwood (45.6 51.2).
  • Quartermaster Kyleen northeast of Satyrnaar in Ashenvale (89.6 40.6).
  • Quartermaster Valdane north of The Twin Colossals in Feralas (48.1 12.7).

Note: Until Phase 4, it was necessary to reach Friendly with the Emerald Wardens faction to buy the rune. In P4, this requirement was removed.

How to Get Summon Felguard in SoD

You get the  Summon Felguard rune (Wrists) in the Season of Discovery as follows:

•  Rune of the Felguard can be contained in  Otherworldly Treasure found by your  Explorer Imp in Fel Portals.
• To get  Explorer Imp, use  Drain Soul on mobs until  Explorer's Soul drops.
• To get  Otherworldly Treasure follow these steps:
  1. Find a Fel Portal in the open world. eg. in The Barrens, Westfall, Darkshore, Silverpine Forest, or Ashenvale.
  2. Near the Fel Portal, speak to your  Explorer Imp and send it into the portal. You’ll get the buff  Imp on a Mission.
  3. Wait until the buff disappears (~10-20 min) and  Explorer Imp reappears next to you or you resummon it.
  4. Speak to  Explorer Imp and you’ll get  Otherworldly Treasure.

How to Get Immolation Aura in SoD

You get the  Immolation Aura rune (Wrists) in Ashenvale in the Season of Discovery as follows:

1. Collect the following items in the northeastern corner of Ashenvale around 93 40:
   •  Dreamhunter Fang: Drops from Dreamhunter Hound.
   •  Dreampyre Fire: Drops from Dreampyre Imp.
   •  Dreamsworn Horn: Drops from Emberspark Dreamsworn.
2. Combine the three items to get  Rune of Immolation Aura.

How to Get Backdraft in SoD

You get the  Backdraft rune (Head) in the Season of Discovery as follows:

Note: The classes  Paladin,  Priest, and  Mage also get one of their runes this way. You can do the following steps in a raid group.

1. Collect 4x  Worldcore Fragment by using one of the following methods:
   •  Worldcore Fragment can be contained in  Otherworldly Treasure found by your  Explorer Imp in Fel Portals.
   •  Worldcore Fragment can be bought in the Auction House as it is no longer soulbound.
   • Note: Alternatively, a  Mage in your group can use  Scroll of Geomancy for the next step.
   • Note: You can get the rune in a raid group. You’ll only need a total of 4x  Scroll of Geomancy or 4x  Worldcore Fragment within the group.
2. Use  Worldcore Fragment (or  Scroll of Geomancy) on each of the following Leyline Confluxes to spawn a level 47 elite Enraged Leywalker (immune to Arcane damage):
   • Azshara at 18.6 79.2 ( Azshara Leycryst)
   • Feralas at 57.2 61.6 ( Feralas Leycryst)
   • The Hinterlands at 48.6 58.4 ( Hinterlands Leycryst)
   • Searing Gorge at 55.6 67.0 ( Blackrock Leycryst)
3. Kill Enraged Leywalker to get a leycryst.
4. Combine the four Leycrysts to learn the rune.

Note: This questline only needs to be completed once per account starting in SoD Phase 5. You can then buy item  Emblem of the Worldcore from Pix Xizzix at 28.4 75.8 in Booty Bay and mail it to an alt char. The emblem can be redeemed at a Rune Broker in any of the major cities to unlock the corresponding rune of the class.

How to Get Vengeance in SoD

You get the  Vengeance rune (Head) in the Season of Discovery as follows:

Note: This quest chain is the same for all classes.

1. Accept the quest The Wild Gods from Shadowtooth Emissary in the Emerald Sanctuary in Felwood (51.6 82.0). Note: The quest requires level 40 and is not sharable.
2. [Only needs to be completed by one player in the group] Kill elites in Jintha’alor in The Hinterlands until you get  Wildwhisper Draught.
3. Kill the final boss in Razorfen Downs and clear the area.
4. Use  Wildwhisper Draught on the small ledge. This will cause the Spirit of Agamaggan to spawn.
5. Turn in the quest at the Spirit of Agamaggan. You will get  Agamaggan's Roar and the follow-up quest The Wild Gods.
6. Collect 3  Wild Offering in Zul’Farrak, Maraudon, or Blackrock Depths. You can go to the same dungeon multiple times (e.g. 3x Zul’Farrak). Everyone in the group can loot the items regardless of whether having the quest or not. However, to get the rune, you will need to accept the quest sooner or later.
   • Zul’Farrak:
     1. Kill 2-3 bosses (may depend on the boss combination) to spawn a spider ghost.
        • The chat emote “You feel a shadowed presence” indicates that you did it correctly.
        • The spider patrols around and south of Gahz'rilla.
     2. Use  Agamaggan's Roar near the spider ghost. This will cause the level 52 elite Delirious Ancient to spawn.
     3. Kill the mob and loot  Wild Offering.
   • Maraudon:
     1. Kill Princess Theradras to spawn a raptor ghost in the water on the upper level.
        The chat emote “You feel a shadowed presence” indicates that you did it correctly.
     2. Use  Agamaggan's Roar near the raptor ghost. This will cause the level 52 elite Delirious Ancient to spawn.
     3. Kill the mob and loot  Wild Offering.
   • Blackrock Depths:
     1. Kill Houndmaster Grebmar, High Interrogator Gerstahn, and the Ring of Law to spawn a basilisk ghost on the Dark Iron Highway leading to Bael’gar.
        Note: The chat emote “You feel a shadowed presence” indicates that you did it correctly.
     2. Use  Agamaggan's Roar near the basilik ghost. This will cause the level 52 elite Delirious Ancient to spawn.
     3. Kill the mob and loot  Wild Offering.
7. Return to Shadowtooth Emissary in Felwood and turn in the quest. You’ll receive  Hyjal's Wisdom from which you can learn the rune.

Once you get the rune, Shadowtooth Emissary sells the following items for  Wild Offering:

•  Shadowtooth Bag – 10  Wild Offering
•  Band of the Wilds – 12  Wild Offering
•  Breadth of the Beast – 12  Wild Offering
•  Cord of the Untamed – 15  Wild Offering
•  Crown of the Dreamweaver – 15  Wild Offering
•  Defender of the Wilds – 12  Wild Offering
•  Godslayer's Greaves – 15  Wild Offering

How to Get Decimation in SoD

You get the  Decimation rune (Back) in the Season of Discovery as follows:

1. Send  Explorer Imp in Fel Rift in Burning Steppes or Eastern Plaguelands until you get  Legion Portal Tuner.
2. Use  Legion Portal Tuner on a Fel Scar in Blasted Lands, Feralas, or Azshara. The Fel Scar will change its appearance.
3. Send  Explorer Imp inside the changed portal. You’ll get  Portal Tuner Tuner.
4. Use  Portal Tuner Tuner on  Legion Portal Tuner to get  Overcharged Portal Tuner.
5. Use  Overcharged Portal Tuner on a Fel Scar. It turns red.
6. Send  Explorer Imp inside the red portal. It will bring back the rune.

How to Get Infernal Armor in SoD

You get the  Infernal Armor rune (Back) in the Season of Discovery as follows:

1. Enter the cave at 64.8 31.8 south of Nethergarde Keep in Blasted Lands.
   Note: The cave is full of level 53 mobs.
2. Kill Shadowsworn mobs (e.g. Shadowsworn Cultist or Shadowsworn Adept) in the cave until you get  Shadowsworn Note.
3. Find the altar at the end of the cave and follow these steps:
   1. Conjure, equip, and use the active of a Spellstone.
   2. Cast  Fel Armor or  Demon Armor.
   3. Cast  Shadow Ward.
   4. Sacrifice a Voidwalker.
   5.  Summon Voidwalker, renew  Soul Link, and ensure it’s full hp.
4. Click the altar. This will cause the level 56 elite Heliath to spawn.
5. Kill Heliath.
6. Loot  Rune of Infernal Armor and learn the rune from it.

How to Get Mark of Chaos in SoD

You get the  Mark of Chaos rune (Feet) in Western Plaguelands the Season of Discovery as follows:

1. Use  Drain Soul on Skeletal Flayer or Slavering Ghoul around 50 79 and 38 56 in Western Plaguelands until you get 3x  Plagued Soul Shard.
2. Turn in the 3  Plagued Soul Shard at one of the following locations to get the rune:
   • Pixi Pilfershard at Chillwind Camp (43.4 84.1).
   • Prazik Pilfershard at The Bulwark (83.1 72.7).

How to Get Fire Specialization in SoD

You get the  Fire Specialization rune (Finger) in the Season of Discovery as follows:

1. Go to Overseer Maltorius in Searing Gorge at 41.8 35.4.
2. Find the book Elements for Dummies Volume II: Fire near Overseer Maltorius at 40.6 35.5.
3. Open the book to get  Rune of Fire Specialization and learn  Fire Specialization from it.

How to Get Shadow Specialization in SoD

You get the  Shadow Specialization rune (Finger) in the Season of Discovery as follows:

1. Go to the Tainted Scar at 33.0 48.0 in Blasted Lands.
2. Find the book at the altar.
3. Open the book to get  Rune of Shadow Specialization and learn  Shadow Specialization from it.

How to Get Dagger Specialization in SoD

You get the  Dagger Specialization rune (Finger) in the Season of Discovery as follows:

1. Go to 20 85 in Silithus, northwest of Ahn’Qiraj.
2. Find the book in a tent.
3. Open the book to get  Rune of Dagger Specialization and learn  Dagger Specialization from it.

How to Get Defense Specialization in SoD

You get the  Defense Specialization rune (Finger) in the Season of Discovery as follows:

1. Find the book in front of the real Lower Blackrock Spire in the hallway behind the meeting stone.
2. Open the book to get  Rune of Defense Specialization and learn  Defense Specialization from it.

How to Get Pole Weapon Specialization in SoD

You get the  Pole Weapon Specialization rune (Finger) in Azshara the Season of Discovery as follows:

1. Go inside the Temple of Arkkoran in Azshara (78 38).
2. Find the book on the Moonwell.
3. Open the book to get  Rune of Pole Weapon Specialization and learn  Pole Weapon Specialization from it.

How to Get Sword Specialization in SoD

You get the  Sword Specialization rune (Finger) in the Season of Discovery as follows:

1. Find the book underneath Karazhan in the Master’s Cellar (cave segment) behind two pillars.
2. Open the book to get  Rune of Sword Specialization and learn  Sword Specialization from it.

How to Get Meditation Specialization in SoD

You get the  Meditation Specialization rune (Finger) in Thousand Needles in the Season of Discovery as follows:

1. Find the book at 80 77 in Shimmering Flats in Thousand Needles.
2. Open the book to get  Rune of Meditation Specialization and learn  Meditation Specialization from it.
